International Rice Research Notes

IRRN has expedited communication among scientists concerned with development of improved technology for rice and rice-based cropping systems.

The IRRN is a mechanism to help scientists keep each other informed of current rice research findings. The concise scientific notes are meant to encourage rice scientists to communicate with one another to obtain details on the research reported.

Since 1998, we have made the IRRN available on the Internet in portable document format (pdf). Pdf files can be read using Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded free by clicking the icon below.

Due to budget constraints, the number of issues per year was reduced from three to two, starting with Volume 26 in 2001.

We appreciate hearing from readers about how we can improve the IRRN and welcome manuscripts as well. Send your comments and manuscripts to Dr. J.K. Ladha, editor-in-chief (j.k.ladha@cgiar.org) and Tess Rola, managing editor (t.rola@cgiar.org).
